The staff at Northland Veterinary Hospital strives to provide the best quality veterinary medical and surgical care for your pet. We couple this with a truly caring attitude and a friendly, knowledgeable staff that wants to keep your pet healthy and safe.We serve pets and their owners in the Gouverneur area. Our hospital is set up for both complete outpatient and hospital care for your pet.
Dr. Monroe's hours are by appointment Mondays & Fridays, from 9AM until 11AM and 4PM until 7PM; Wednesdays from 9AM until 11AM and 3PM to 5PM. Dr. Monroe also has a satellite office in Star Lake, where he has appointments from 6PM until 7PM on Wednesdays.
Although we are closed on weekends, a staff member is available Saturdays & Sundays from 8AM until 9AM for admissions & discharges, and to assist clients in need of prescription refills. Staff members rotate through our office on weekends to care for hospitalized pets.
Please note that, according to law, we are required to have a patient/client/veterinarian relationship in order to dispense prescription medication. This relationship is established and maintained by a once-yearly physical exam by Dr. Monroe.
NOTICE OF CHANGE IN HOURS FOR AUGUST - We will be closing early at 4PM EVERY FRIDAY IN AUGUST. Thank you for your patience as Dr. Monroe moves his sons to college!
